It has Sheffield 1290's and to be honest, the speakers didn't have the volume of my Eminence's, nor the character however, I really think for the price the cabinet can't be beat. I see them sell for $200-250 all the time. If I needed a budget cab, I'd be ALL over it for the price they sell for. WebJun 3, 2013 · The vin 30's seem to have more high mid aggression, and the 1290's seem to have more of a balanced midrange, it doesn't jump out or sound scooped, just kinda neutral. I find the 1290's to be dark overall though. I don't hear any ice pick treble frequencies. The two cabs sound great together.
