For every additional five years of service after the initial 10, employees are entitled to 6.5 weeks of long service leave. Public holidays that fall during the long service leave period do not extend the period of long service leave. WebBy default, unused balances of the Annual Leave or Long Service Leave categories will be paid out on termination of employment. If you choose to pay out unused balances of other leave categories, the unused balance will be processed as an employee termination payment (ETP).
